Virus: Earth's Last Battle

This second installment in the Virus series, paralleling the SIMPOC series, unfolds in a post-apocalyptic America where a nearly annihilating virus has decimated the population, and a warlord seizes power from the White House. As the remaining US Navy struggles to defend itself from vengeful remnants of hostile militaries, the story also follows Joan Herl and her space station crew, who face a rogue computer attack, and the emergence of a new, rival thinking computer created by a moon colony scientist. The narrative explores their efforts to uncover the origins of the virus and the true culprit behind its inception.
