A revolutionary drug called "PZT" is developed by a powerful South American pharmaceutical company, initially believed to have miraculous medicinal benefits, but it later evolves into a highly addictive and deadly substance. Attorney Dane Ingersoll is hired to expedite FDA approval of PZT and becomes entangled in a dangerous situation as he uncovers serious issues with the drug and the company's covert strategies to promote it in the US.
