A Pact of Silence

Set against the backdrop of the hot summer of 1969 and spanning four decades, this story follows two young men involved in a tragic incident on a Shropshire building site, whose lives are forever changed by their actions. In the present day, detective colleagues Frank Kavanagh and Jane Salt face personal and professional challenges as Salt seeks refuge in the same Shropshire town, where she becomes entangled in her friend's love life and a dangerous situation. Their histories intertwine as they confront past secrets and work together to unravel a long-hidden murder mystery.
