The Book of Enoch, once lost to history, has resurfaced and offers valuable insight into the background of the New Testament, with many copies discovered among the Dead Sea Scrolls. Evidence suggests that Jesus and the Apostles were familiar with the book, often alluding to or drawing on its ideas in their teachings. While it may seem unfamiliar to modern readers, it was a familiar part of the biblical literary context for its original audience.
