When four black teens are arrested for the murder of a white teen in South Atlanta, young crime reporter Carrie Sue Justice becomes determined to uncover the truth and prove one of the teens’ innocence. As she navigates personal struggles and romantic entanglements, her efforts to seek justice encounter significant challenges. Her best friend Freemont Jackson offers support, but the situation grows increasingly perilous, culminating in a tense courtroom showdown.
