When the alien Zava discovers a sentient world, he considers various ways to explore and learn about its inhabitants, from surveys and analyses to more intrusive methods. Ultimately, he contemplates infiltrating human society as a means to gather information while also enjoying himself. The story explores Zava’s thoughts on how to best study these new beings and the possibilities of his approach.
