Killer Couple

James Marlow and Cynthia Coffman were convicted of murdering five people during a multi-state rampage, with the last two victims being kidnapped and murdered in chilling circumstances. Both received the death penalty, with Coffman also sentenced to life without parole for one of the murders. Despite attempting to shift blame onto each other, they were convicted of multiple serious crimes, and Coffman became the first woman sentenced to death in California after the state's death penalty laws were reinstated.
