In a city facing multiple crises, Scottie Brentson must navigate a landscape of mutant threats, mysterious new adversaries, and the loss of his allies. After encountering a novel mutant and seeking guidance from his incarcerated father, Scottie turns to the remaining Meta-Misfits to protect Greensville from emerging dangers. As their foes grow more dangerous, Scottie grapples with his own challenges, including helping a friend control his volatile powers, all while facing the possibility that he might have to confront these threats alone.
