Promise to Keep

Orphaned at a young age, Esther Detweiler has spent her life caring for her grandmother and later, her niece Daisy, a deaf girl she welcomes into her home after her cousin’s death. As war veteran Joe Garrison returns, he seeks healing and connection with his daughter, while developing a bond with Esther, who challenges his perceptions with her compassionate, Amish-rooted life.
