Freedom’s Moon

Thomas Bishop, born to a slave mother and one of the unknown few with a White father, dreams of freedom and a better future for himself and the woman he loves. Despite facing brutal hardships, including illegal efforts to learn to read and being sold away from his home, he persists in his quest for liberty. His journey leads him through dangerous territory and introduces him to the compassionate efforts of the Underground Railroad, testing his resolve and faith along the way.
