Annie Graceland, who communicates with the dead and investigates their murders, finds herself entangled in a ghostly mystery when her college ex-boyfriend, Mack, shows up unexpectedly. After Mack is run over and becomes a ghost haunting her, she must solve his murder quickly—before her visiting mother arrives for Thanksgiving—and handle family tensions along the way.
