Matthew Kershaw, a cryptozoologist and professor, is drawn into a mysterious investigation after a forest ranger is attacked by unusually large wolves in Idaho. As he explores the cause, he uncovers potential links to mythical animal totems and spirits, believing the situation may involve an undiscovered wolf species.
