Vering's Dilemma

A Galanticcev Empire scout vessel is on a routine mission to explore the outer spirals of the Milky Way Galaxy when its pilot detects organized radio traffic from the third planet in the system. What begins as an ordinary reconnaissance soon leads to discoveries that could alter the course of galactic history.
