In 1988, two eight-year-old girls with similar names and a shared passion for ballet meet and seem destined for a lifelong friendship and dance careers. As the years pass, life’s hardships lead them down very different paths—one to a convent, the other to fleeting fame. The story explores whether these diverging lives fulfill their potential or if true salvation can only be found through a reunion two decades later.
