Pee Wee Poston and his wife, Beulah, seize the opportunity to move from New York to London, but they soon face the challenges of life as a Black family in inter-war London. As their circumstances become more difficult, the arrival of Nazi bombs adds to the hardships they encounter. The story explores their experiences and resilience in a turbulent historical period.
