Christopher Ryland is rapidly approaching the end of his life when he is digitized into a new beta video game program offered by Everlast Corporation, promising eternal life within the game world. However, he soon discovers that his digital environment is filled with dangerous characters and unexpected challenges, including slavers, sadists, and a mischievous elf.
