Agapanthus has grown up in a foster family, unaware of her true origins after being kidnapped as a child from her home planet, Deeyae. As she matures, she begins to question her identity and seeks to connect with her roots, inspired by the rite-of-passage of another Exchanger boy. Her journey evolves from one of cultural discovery to a deeper quest for personal truth, exploring themes of belonging and self-awareness.
