Who's the Master

Set during the final days of American slavery, this historical romance follows two Senegalese men, Miro and Osmanu, who are prisoners on a Virginia plantation after falling in love during their journey from West Africa. As Osmanu plans an escape to the North, they must navigate the dangers posed by their master, Sir William, who shows a troubling interest in one of the slave girls. The story explores their struggle for freedom amid peril and personal desire.
