Throwback Special

The Throwback Special follows a group of 22 men who annually gather to reenact a famous NFL play, exploring their personal hopes, fears, and passions over a weekend of reflection and ritual. With a blend of humor and insight, the story offers a nuanced look at themes of manhood, marriage, and middle age through the lens of this unique tradition. Chris Bachelder's evocative storytelling captures the emotional complexity and cultural significance of this collective experience.
