In Appalachian Justice, Jessie, an adult survivor of childhood trauma, faces new challenges as she seeks to honor a late friend's final wish by establishing a wilderness retreat on Crutcher Mountain. When strange events threaten the project, she returns to West Virginia and encounters heartfelt stories and unexpected connections, including her bond with a young boy with Down Syndrome. As she unravels the mysteries surrounding the retreat, Jessie must confront her past, embrace love, and find healing for herself and those she cares about.
