A Beacon of Love

Set in 1928 during Prohibition, this story follows Ava Sinclair, a librarian, and Mike Kelly, a writer with dreams of a "Great American Novel," as they become entangled in a mysterious pursuit involving men in a black car. When their small town of Buxton is drawn into the sinister activities of Chicago rum-runners, Ava, Mike, and her brother Sheriff Martin Sinclair work together to uncover and thwart the criminal plans threatening their community. The narrative explores themes of intrigue, protection, and unexpected romance amid this dangerous backdrop.
