Battle of the New Orleans

Thibodaux "Tibby" James Renwalt, a former Navy engineer from New Orleans, encounters an unexpected adventure after discovering an ancient alien spaceship in a swamp. When he inadvertently sets the ship on a spacefaring journey, he finds himself in Federation space, wealthier than he ever imagined, but also facing dangerous enemies and moral challenges.
