Eight Cousins

"Eight Cousins, or The Aunt Hill" by Louisa May Alcott follows the story of Rose Campbell, a young girl who, after becoming orphaned, moves in with her aunts and cousins in Boston. As she adjusts to her new family and surroundings, she begins to find happiness and health through her guardian Uncle Alec's unconventional approach to caring for her. Along the way, Rose forms a meaningful friendship with Phebe, the housemaid, which helps her deepen her understanding of her own blessings.
