MI7's new recruit, Chasha Jones, is unexpectedly absent on her first day, having aligned herself with eccentric scientist Hector Raynebow, who envisions creating a new, superior human race through advanced gene technology. As governments become wary of Raynebow's project, the question arises of who will ultimately control this powerful innovation. Investigator John Mordred soon finds himself navigating dangerous territory, with Chasha reappearing to assist in the unfolding chaos.
