The Priestly Sins follows the journey of Father Herman Hoffman as he navigates the challenges and controversies within the Catholic Church, including confronting child abuse and dealing with institutional suppression. As a whistle-blower, he faces exile and mental health institutionalization, but eventually attempts to rebuild his life and faith in Chicago.
