In 1963, Mustafa, a Palestinian student in the United States, embarks on a cross-country journey from Durham to Stanford University after experiencing a traumatic attack. Along the way, he encounters a diverse array of people and scenarios, facing both kindness and danger, and grappling with inner conflicts. His travels reveal the complexities of human connection and self-discovery, ultimately challenging him to reconcile his past experiences with his hopes for love and acceptance.
