Paradise Parade

Emily Barr, who lives above her stepfather's fish and chip shop on Merseyside, finds herself working in a jewelry factory where she is promoted and caught the attention of Giles, the owner's son. When Giles proposes, she accepts, but soon she discovers that his feelings are not genuine. As Emily navigates the consequences of her marriage, she faces a difficult journey to find happiness.
