Out on a Limb

Phoebe McFarland, a home healthcare nurse, returns to her small hometown of White Oak, Tennessee, where she cares for a variety of local residents and navigates her personal life with optimism. When she reconnects with her childhood sweetheart, Henry Matthews, their budding romance is challenged as they become involved in a tense search for a missing young woman from the nearby Smoky Mountains National Park. The story combines themes of community, hope, and mystery against the scenic backdrop of the Smokies.
