Derry Melyvante is a dedicated gardener and nature lover living a peaceful life near the village of Haverdell when a mysterious blight threatens the local trees and draws him into a larger conflict. Summoned to the king’s court to investigate strange magical maladies, Derry and his companions soon find themselves embroiled in a dangerous quest involving monsters, treachery, and ancient secrets.
