The Penitent

The story begins with the birth of a boy named Pall, whose name later becomes feared in battle. Years later, he survives a brutal battlefield encounter and meets John Savage, leading to a perilous quest for truth. As they face deadly threats and being haunted by a malevolent spirit, they are also guided and guarded by the prayers and visions of a young woman.
