The Veil

Set in 1857 Utah, this story explores the complex and often hidden practices of a secluded religious community, where secrets and brutal acts are concealed beneath a facade of faith. Hannah McClary, a brave young woman, questions her community's truth, and along with Lucas Knight—raised to serve the Church—finds herself facing life-and-death challenges. Amidst the march of pioneer families toward a tragic confrontation, themes of truth, justice, love, and forgiveness emerge as the characters grapple with their beliefs and assumptions.
