Cruise Control

Retired soldier Blake Best is accustomed to driving fast—both in his car and through life—and is faced with a pivotal moment when a Maserati brings him together with Parker Monteith, a former Airman trying to maintain stability. As their paths cross, they each confront their own challenges and choices. The story explores whether Blake can slow down enough to realize that life’s true treasures may lie beyond the speed of the fast lane.
