Alternative to Murder

Richard Douglas, working at The Boston Globe, finds himself unfulfilled and feeling overlooked in his role, which was created for him by his wealthy wife, Lindsay Nelson. When Lindsay is kidnapped and a ransom is demanded, Richard enlists the help of ex-cop and private investigator Frank Doyle to navigate the dangerous situation. The story unfolds as they face a series of perilous challenges following a failed ransom exchange.
