Little Bird

As a high school senior, the narrator misses out on typical teenage experiences like parties and dating, prompting a desire to try new things—despite resistance from friends. As they observe their friends' secretive behaviors and nighttime absences, suspicions grow that the boys they thought they knew are hiding something darker. Tension escalates as the narrator begins to suspect they may uncover the true identity of the person controlling their small town of Black Ridge.
