Meridian Sozu, a Fenestra who helps souls transition into the afterlife, embarks on a journey to find her missing mentor after losing her beloved Auntie. Alongside her protector Tens, she travels to Indiana, where they encounter Juliet, a caring teenager navigating life among foster children and the shadows of death.
