River of Ink

Set in the ancient island kingdom of Lanka, this story follows Asanka, a court poet whose life transforms when a ruthless prince, Kalinga Magha, invades and takes control. Tasked with translating an epic Sanskrit poem to pacify the unrest, Asanka finds his beliefs about poetry challenged as his words begin to influence the land and threaten his safety. Amidst political upheaval and personal danger, he discovers that real power may lie beyond the sword—in the pen of a poet.
