The Bookseller’s Apprentice

Set in 1871 Melbourne, twelve-year-old Billy Pyke works at a bustling bookstall at Paddy's Market and is known for his problem-solving skills. When his friend Kezia warns him about the sinister magician, the Obscurosmith, Billy gradually uncovers the truth behind the magical deals and the danger they pose. As the threats escalate, Billy must confront the dark forces himself to prevent disaster.
