The Ride-Along

Set against the backdrop of police reform and public outcry in Spokane, the story follows Officer Lee Salter, a dedicated third-generation cop committed to doing his job with integrity amidst departmental upheaval. He teams up with Melody Weaver, an activist and teacher eager to understand the realities of law enforcement, by going on a ride-along during a graveyard shift. Their interactions explore themes of change, duty, and the challenges faced by those on both sides of the badge.
