The Dreams in the Witch House

In "The Dreams in the Witch House," a horror short story by H. P. Lovecraft, Walter Gilman, a mathematics and folklore student at Miskatonic University, rents a cursed attic room in Arkham's infamous "Witch House." Once home to the accused witch Keziah Mason, who vanished from a Salem jail in 1692, the house harbors a dark history, as many of its past occupants have died under mysterious circumstances. Gilman explores the peculiar geometry of his attic room, theorizing that it may allow passage between different dimensions, setting the stage for a chilling encounter with the unknown.
