Dakota Lee, who has communicated with spirits since childhood, owns a bakery in Santa Mesa, California, and has come to accept her gift. Her life takes a turn after the discovery of Detective Rod Kane's body, leading her to encounter his spirit and become involved in uncovering his killer.
