Here for a Good Time

Set in 1990 in the small fishing town of Prince Rupert, this coming-of-age YA follows Indigenous teen Morgan as she navigates school, family, and young love while grappling with the lingering effects of intergenerational trauma. Through her friendship with Nate and her experiences at an alternate school, Morgan begins to confront difficult truths about her mother's past and seek hope for a new beginning rooted in love and forgiveness.
