Joy Henderson returns to her small hometown due to family obligations, despite her successful life in San Francisco and a desire to avoid the past. There, she reunites with Kelsey West, her high school crush, now an out-of-work swim coach recovering from a breakup. As they reconnect, both women wonder if the passage of time has changed their feelings and the possibility of love.
