The Last Resort

Set in March 2034, the story follows D.C. police detective Jen Lu and her sentient bio-computer Chandler as they investigate the mysterious death of environmental lawyer Patty Garcia, amid a worsening climate crisis and social upheaval. Despite official conclusions, Jen suspects foul play and begins unraveling a complex web of motives involving powerful figures with much to hide. As she delves deeper, she faces increasing danger from those intent on keeping the truth buried at any cost.
