Out of the Blue

Out of the Blue by Jason June is a queer rom-com that follows Crest, a teenage merfolk on a land journey with a challenging goal: aid a human within a month to secure their place among the Elders. While in Los Angeles, Crest forms a bond with Sean, a human lifeguard, and their evolving relationship explores themes of love, identity, and what it truly means to find a sense of home. The story combines humor, heart, and a touch of magic as it blurs the lines between fake dating and real feelings.
