At fifteen, Evie leaves her small-town life behind and moves to North Queensland in 1977, where she begins to explore a rebellious and adventurous side amid the vibrant backdrop of sex, drugs, and rock'n'roll. As her journey unfolds in the lush rainforest and beyond, she experiences the highs of newfound independence and the challenges that come with it. Ultimately, she longs for the innocence and comfort of her childhood hometown.
