The Bear and the Wolf

After a failed attempt at settling in the New World, Norse explorers face dangerous challenges as they attempt to return home, unaware that their Navigator is left isolated and threatened by enemies. The story centers on brothers Erik the Navigator and Fótr Larsson, each fighting to survive in an unfamiliar land and amid looming dangers. Erik adapts to life among the Skraeling, while Fótr embarks on a perilous quest summoned by Ylva the volva.
