The Postmistress

Set in 1871 at the rugged goldmining settlement of Maiden's Creek, this story follows Adelaide Greaves as she strives to build a new life with her young son amidst the challenges of a tough community. As her past begins to catch up with her, she encounters Caleb Hunt, a scarred Confederate soldier with a dark history, who may be her only ally in facing imminent danger. Together, they must confront unforeseen threats from both the Australian wilderness and their own histories, testing their trust and resilience.
