When the Sky Falls

Set in 1940, the story follows Joseph as he is sent to stay with Mrs. F, a gruff caretaker of a dilapidated city zoo. There, he befriends Adonis, an imposing silverback gorilla, and learns about loyalty and bravery amidst the chaos of wartime. As bombs threaten the zoo, Joseph faces a crucial decision that tests his courage and connection with the animal.
