The Last Refuge

Sam Acquillo, a middle-aged former professional boxer and engineer, lives a solitary, disillusioned life in Southampton's North Sea after abandoning his previous career and relationships. When the mysterious death of his neighbor occurs, Sam begins to uncover secrets that challenge his cynical outlook. As quirky characters from both sides of the social spectrum enter his life, the story explores hidden truths within the Hamptons' communities, some of which harbor danger.
