Beth's Story: A Runaway Bride

In 1955 Texas, Beth Dalton, a runaway bride, escapes an arranged marriage that would have required her to give up her freedom and wealth, leading her to cross paths with veteran Silas McGuiness. Despite their differences in background and outlook, the two are encouraged to date for five weeks as they consider marriage. Their journey explores themes of class, love, and personal growth, raising the question of whether Beth will finally find stability or continue running from her past.
